History at Summerside aims to provide all children with a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum. The curriculum delivers opportunities for all children to explore the past in a stimulating way so that children can reflect, question and interpret the past in different ways. History at Summerside helps children to develop their knowledge and skills, of enquiry, investigation and analysis, in order to understand and discuss the complexity of people's lives, the process of change and the diversity of relationships and societies while comparing and relating to themselves and the challenges in modern society.
