Children at Summerside are able to develop their scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through the three disciplines of science, biology, chemistry and physics. Through their weekly science lessons, children learn the scientific skills, using the types of enquiry skills seen below, and knowledge they need to understand the uses and implications of science today, and for the future.
